Kiez is a Berlin-inspired new opening coming to Notting Hill, built around a tight kebab-led menu, curated cocktails, standout German and Austrian natural wines, and a world-class sound system, all set within a seriously design-led space. At 35 covers with a terrace, Kiez will be a small restaurant with big personality - a neighbourhood spot with real energy, strong drinks offering, great music, and a clear point of view.

We are looking for a Floor Manager to join the opening team from day one and help shape the floor culture, standards, and service style of the restaurant.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the management team in the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
  • Guiding the floor team during service, making sure guests are well looked after and the team is working well together.
  • Helping train and develop new starters and less experienced team members on the floor.
  • Being confident with guest interaction and stepping in to handle questions, issues, or feedback when needed.
  • Taking responsibility for opening and closing duties, and helping make sure the site is set up properly for service each day.
  • Looking after day-to-day ordering and stock organisation, helping keep deliveries, pars, and daily essentials on track.
  • Supporting with the practical side of compliance, from hygiene standards and cleaning routines to health and safety awareness on shift.
  • Keeping an eye on maintenance issues and flagging anything that needs attention quickly.
  • Taking real pride in the floor and playing a key part in helping establish Kiez as one of the neighbourhood’s standout new openings.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in a quality restaurant or hospitality environment, ideally with some experience in a senior waiter, head waiter, or supervisor role.
  • A genuine love for restaurants that have identity, energy, and cultural relevance.
  • Great energy, a warm personality, and the kind of presence that lifts the room.
  • Good attention to detail and consistently high standards.
  • A hands-on attitude and a natural instinct to support both guests and team.
  • Someone upbeat, switched-on, and comfortable taking responsibility during busy services.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
  • Full UK right to work.
