Digital Product Owner CRM & Community Platforms. Maternity Cover | 12 month Fixed Term Contract Hybrid, 4 Days a week, 1 day a week in the office (Surrey and or London based). Salary circa £65,000 - £71,000 pro rata. So circa £52,000 - £57,000 for 4 days a week.

Our client, a well established national charity is looking for a Digital Product Owner, to lead a community engagement platform through an exciting period of growth, as part of a major multi-year UK-wide programme, supported by the National Lottery Community Fund, helping thousands of local community groups across the UK.

You'll own the product vision and roadmap for a digital platform connecting community groups, volunteers and schools, translating stakeholder needs and CRM requirements into clear briefs, user stories and a prioritised backlog. You'll work closely with CRM, IT, analytics, design, development and research teams to keep the platform accessible, measurable and continuously improving while supporting data quality, governance and adoption across the organisation.

You'll be accountable for:

  • Developing and maintaining the product vision and roadmap for the platform and related community experiences
  • Translating user needs, stakeholder feedback, CRM requirements and business processes into clear briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria and prioritised backlog items
  • Working with cross-functional teams to define scope, manage risks and support agile delivery, testing, release readiness and continuous improvement
  • Using CRM data, user insight and performance measures to improve journeys, adoption, data quality and benefits realisation
  • Leading stakeholder workshops and communications, helping teams understand delivery choices, dependencies and impacts
  • Championing CRM-enabled change across the organisation through clear documentation, training support, feedback loops and adoption activity

About you:

  • Proven experience delivering CRM-enabled digital products end-to-end vision, roadmap, backlog, agile delivery, post-launch improvement
  • Strong data literacy and UX awareness, with a solid grasp of CRM data, integrations and customer lifecycle principles
  • Confident stakeholder management and facilitation skills, comfortable balancing strategic thinking with delivery detail
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (CRM, business analysts, designers, developers, researchers)

Desirable: charity/not-for-profit sector experience, Microsoft Dynamics or CRM integration knowledge, experience with community/membership/engagement-focused products, familiarity with Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps.
