We're looking for a Traffic Management Manager to join our A66 Northern Trans-Pennine team based in Penrith.
Location: Penrith - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required
Hours: Permanent Fulltime 45 hours per week – will consider condensed hours. There is some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak
Salary: £55,000 - £63,000 per year + private healthcare + £5.9k annual car allowance + benefits

What will you be responsible for?
- Supporting the Traffic Management Lead and Project Manager with all traffic management requirements, from resource allocation and design to National Highways governance and stakeholder engagement
- Assisting with the production of method statements, risk assessments, and traffic management drawings
- Chairing liaison meetings with the Police, contractors, clients and other stakeholders
- Carrying out independent audits of network traffic management and conducting traffic safety audits
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, including Kier and National Highways policies
What are we looking for?
- Strong experience in traffic management, with a solid understanding of traffic management design (IHE‐TTME)
- Relevant qualifications such as NHSS 12A Foremen, NHSS 12A TSCO/TSS, NHSS 12D M7, and SSSTS
- The ability to communicate clearly and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- A full driving licence and National Highways Passport
- A collaborative approach, with a genuine focus on delivering high-quality technical solutions
