As a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality mechanical engineering services across our projects. Working within Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME), our internal MEP self-delivery business, you'll be part of a collaborative team supporting regional businesses and strategic projects across sectors including custodial, education, commercial, health, and science. As a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer, you'll be working within the project team, supporting them in delivering compliant, safe, and efficient mechanical engineering solutions. Your day to day will include: Responsibilities * Ensuring all works are procured, planned, and carried out safely in accordance with Kier standards, project requirements, and legislation. * Reviewing designs with design teams and clients to optimise construction efficiency, safety, and compliance. * Managing robust change control processes and identifying risks and opportunities. * Implementing quality control procedures and maintaining accurate records throughout the project lifecycle. * Providing leadership and guidance to project team members, setting clear expectations and supporting their development.
