We're looking for a SHE Advisor to join our highways maintenance team based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for you to provide professional Safety, Health and Environmental advice and support to operational and office-based teams.
Location: Thimble Mill Lane, Birmingham - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Salary: £37,000 - £47,000 per year + £5k annual car allowance + benefits

What will you be responsible for?
- Providing SHE advice, guidance and support to operational teams and office-based staff
- Undertaking site inspections, audits, and safety tours across highways activities
- Supporting incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, ensuring actions are implemented and lessons learned
- Assisting with the delivery of health and safety campaigns, SHE initiatives and behavioural safety drives
- Encouraging positive, practical improvements to working practices and risk control measures
