We're looking for a Traffic Management Operative to join our team based in Brixworth. This is an excellent opportunity to join our highways maintenance team, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety of work sites across the region.

Location: Brixworth – site based 5 days per week
Hours: Permanent Fulltime 40 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Salary: £31,000 - £35,000 per year + excellent benefits

What will you be responsible for?
As a Traffic Management Operative, you'll be working alongside dedicated maintenance gangs, providing essential traffic management support for carriageway, footway, and drainage projects. This hands-on role offers the chance to develop your skills whilst contributing to the improvement of local road networks.
Your day to day will include:
- Completing traffic management risk assessments to ensure site safety
- Reviewing and implementing traffic management arrangements for minor works
- Supporting maintenance activities including hand sweeping, cleaning, and litter picking
- Loading, unloading, and handling materials and equipment safely
- Working collaboratively with your team to deliver high-quality maintenance projects

This Traffic Management Operative role would suit someone who:
- Holds LANTRA Traffic Management qualifications at T1/M1 and T2/M2 levels
- Brings hands-on experience from highway maintenance or a similar field
- Has completed relevant SHE matrix training for the role
- Is committed to working safely and looks out for colleagues and the public
- Thrives in a team environment and enjoys contributing to shared success
