We're looking for a Pre-Construction Lead to join our Major Project Construction team.
Location: Regional offices - Split between Basingstoke and London
Hours: Full-time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
This is an exciting opportunity to drive work-winning excellence across our Strategic Projects business, securing major projects in key sectors including Education, Healthcare, Defence, and Custodial. In this role you'll lead a PCSA, 2nd stage bid on a key opportunity in the Life Science sector.
What will you be responsible for?
- Leading and inspiring multidisciplinary bid teams from inception through to contract award and mobilisation
- Developing winning bid strategies aligned with our business priorities and client needs
- Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and position our offer effectively
- Overseeing bid quality, ensuring compliance, innovation, and commercial strength in all submissions
- Nurturing talent within your team through coaching, mentoring, and creating opportunities for professional growth
What are we looking for?
- You have proven Pre-Construction leadership experience with the ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships across teams
- You bring extensive pre-construction and PCSA experience with a strong track record in crafting high-quality, persuasive bid submissions
- You possess excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- You have a solid understanding of commercial strategy and can translate this into winning proposals
- You're passionate about developing people and creating inclusive, supportive team environments
- Desirable experience would include Public Sector project exposure, NEC Contract and Major Programme experience
