What will you be responsible for?
As Site Engineer you’ll be working within the United Utilities Framework, supporting them in providing vital technical support on site, ensuring that construction works are delivered to the required specifications, safely and efficiently. You’ll work closely with the wider project team, including construction, engineering, and commercial colleagues to keep work on track and to the highest quality standards.
Your Day To Day Will Include:
- Undertake setting out, surveying, and technical engineering tasks to meet project requirements.
- Check works against design drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Plan, coordinate, and support site activities, resolving technical queries promptly.
- Maintain accurate site records, including as-built data, diaries, ITPs, and material approvals.
- Promote and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
What are we looking for?
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a site-based engineering role.
- Proficient in setting out and surveying equipment (e.g. total station, GPS).
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and construction processes.
- CSCS card, relevant safety qualifications, and a full UK driving licence.
