Job Description
We're looking for a Temporary Works Manager to join our highly successful Highways team based in Gloucester to deliver a major highways project, value circa Β£500m. Could this be you? Can you imagine a world without transportation links via land, sea or air?

Location : Gloucester β site based 5 days per week Hours : Permanent, Fulltime 45 hours per week Salary : Β£65,000 β Β£75,000 per year Β£6.7k annual car allowance private healthcare benefits We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. What will you be responsible for? As a Temporary Work Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring all temporary works (TW) are properly planned, designed, reviewed, implemented, and maintained in line with project requirements, safety standards, and TW procedures.
Acting as the central coordinator between designers, contractors, and site teams, you'll ensure compliance with all relevant regulations while providing oversight and assurance to safeguard both workers and the public throughout the construction process. Your day to day will include: Implementing safe systems of work for site activities, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and welfare are maintained Lead the temporary works process across the project lifecycle Maintain the Temporary Works Register and ensure all designs are approved before implementation Liaise with Temporary Works Designers (TWDs) and Temporary Works Coordinators (TWCs) to resolve technical issues Support incident investigations related to temporary works and implement corrective actions What are we looking for?
