Overview
We\’re looking for a Temporary Works Coordinator to join our Highways team based in Tebay. Are you ready to play a crucial role in our successful highways project team? We\’re seeking a skilled Temporary Works Coordinator with experience in structures to join our collaborative team.
Location: Tebay, Cumbria – travel to the office required with some remote working available
Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per year + £5.9k car allowance + private healthcare + excellent benefits

Responsibilities
- Developing and coordinating safe, innovative temporary works solutions from concept through to implementation
- Managing the interface between site teams, design requirements and project timelines
- Producing CAD drawings and design briefs while ensuring compliance with procedures
- Supporting installation teams and conducting site checks to ensure quality and safety
- Collaborating across disciplines to coordinate designs and mitigate risks effectively
What are we looking for?
- Have experience in structures and bridges engineering with a keen eye for detail
- Are confident using CAD to produce drawings and coordinate design elements
- Thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy building relationships across teams
- Are organised and can effectively manage multiple design priorities to meet programme requirements
- Have a CSCS card and ideally Temporary Works Coordinator training
