Overview

We\’re looking for a Temporary Works Coordinator to join our Highways team based in Tebay. Are you ready to play a crucial role in our successful highways project team? We\’re seeking a skilled Temporary Works Coordinator with experience in structures to join our collaborative team.

Location: Tebay, Cumbria – travel to the office required with some remote working available

Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

Salary: Β£50,000 – Β£55,000 per year + Β£5.9k car allowance + private healthcare + excellent benefits

Responsibilities

  • Developing and coordinating safe, innovative temporary works solutions from concept through to implementation
  • Managing the interface between site teams, design requirements and project timelines
  • Producing CAD drawings and design briefs while ensuring compliance with procedures
  • Supporting installation teams and conducting site checks to ensure quality and safety
  • Collaborating across disciplines to coordinate designs and mitigate risks effectively

What are we looking for?

  • Have experience in structures and bridges engineering with a keen eye for detail
  • Are confident using CAD to produce drawings and coordinate design elements
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy building relationships across teams
  • Are organised and can effectively manage multiple design priorities to meet programme requirements
  • Have a CSCS card and ideally Temporary Works Coordinator training
