We\βre looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall. We are currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth Location : remote working available Hours : 42.Due to the site being a high Security Military Naval base, additional security checks will need to be made β BPSS level of security clearance is required. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports and have been a UK residence for the last 5 years can be considered for this role. Responsibilities The Senior Project Engineer role is responsible for leading the Infrastructure Project Quality Engineering Team. Your day to day as Senior Project Engineer will include: Managing a team of Quality Assurance Engineers across the KBJV 10 dock delivery programme, ensuring project engineering cover on a 24-hour basis depending on the nature and volume of works Supporting the development of the project engineering team to ensure appropriate skills and resource are in place Prepare, review and co-ordinate technical data with Project Teams, Pre-construction team and Engineering to ensure projects are planned with minimal impact to the project. Working with the Delivery Management Team (DMT) to advise and review project impact prior to and during construction Responsible for driving a health and safety culture on sites at all times. This role of Senior Project Engineer is great for you if: You have a Civil Engineering qualification or relevant experience and are a member of a technical institution or working toward member status Expert Knowledge on FRC construction techniques, including Soils, Subbase, piling Sub-Structure and Super structure.
