We're looking for a Porter to join our team based in Huntington, Cambridge.

Location: Hinchingbrooke Treatment Centre - Huntington, Cambridge.

Hours: 15 hours per week, on a shift rota basis between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Porter, you'll be responsible for the movement of patients and portable equipment, materials, and consumables at Hinchingbrooke Treatment Centre. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Ensuring all portering tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and within the appropriate response times.
  • Providing prompt and safe portering and security services to all wards and departments, in line with the Trust's needs.
  • Collecting and delivering specimens.
  • Becoming trained and competent in handling Medical gas bottles, including collection, delivery, and connections.
  • Reporting significant matters to the portering/security team leader.
