Job Description:
We\’re looking for a Learning & Development Apprentice to join our Transportation, Highways team and assist on projects across the UK, working towards a business admin level 3 apprenticeship.

Location: Nationwide – predominantly across the Northwest and Midlands area
Contract: Permanent full-time – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £19,500
Learning and Development Apprentice
What will you be responsible for?
As an L&D apprentice, you\’ll be enrolled onto a business admin level 3 apprenticeship, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn. You will support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of training programmes. The role involves administrative tasks, communication, and coordination to help our employees grow their skills and knowledge.
Day-to-day duties include:
- Scheduling training sessions (online or in-person)
- Booking venues, trainers, and equipment
- Updating training records or LMS
- Liaising with trainers, managers, and external providers
- Analyzing training feedback and creating reports
What are we looking for?
- GCSEs at grades 3 – 9 (D or above), Functional Skills level 1 in English and Maths
- Punctual, self-motivated, eager to learn
- Ability to handle physical work in varying weather conditions
- Over 18 years old (due to potential overnight stays for work and training)
- Driving license is preferable due to location and vehicle opportunities
