We're looking for a General Foreman to join our Natural Resources team, working on our Southern Water Framework.
Location : Working on sites in Kent and East Sussex.
Contract : Permanent, Full Time
Responsibilities
We're looking for a General Foreman to join our NRNN business unit Water business unit working on our Southern Water Framework. In this role you'll play a crucial role in managing safety onsite and ensuring tasks are carried out with the highest level of expertise and skill.
Your day to day will include:
- Managing Safety on site including giving inductions and effective Toolbox Talks, Daily Task Briefings and Point of Work assessments to Site Operatives.
- Allocating duties to Site Operatives and key involvement in enabling work activities.
- Monitoring the activities of supply chain partners to ensure they are being undertaken to Kier standards of Health and Safety.
- Organising and requisitioning Site Equipment/ Plant and Materials to ensure completion of works.
- Co-ordinating with Line Managers on developing RAMS and managing work methods which are technically sound, safe, economically viable, feasible and consistent and advise them of any items which may impact / change the contract programme.

- Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of the set up and day to day running of a construction site.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation (e.g., CDM Regulations).
- CSCS Card qualification.
- Full driving licence
