We are looking for a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) which is our internal MEP Self Delivery business.
This role will be the Commercial Lead on a major project in the Custodial sector. Our MEP business work closely with our Construction business to deliver turnkey MEP solutions.
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire

What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you\’ll be joining the Kier Mechanical & Electrical team working as the Commercial lead for the project.
What can you expect for your day to day?
- Ensure compliance with the project\’s procurement strategy, including subcontract inquiries and tender reviews.
- Manage valuations, project cashflows, and turnover forecasts, including monthly cost reports and progress records.
- Provide legal and contractual advice on orders and changes, handling notices and subcontractor administration.
- Drive commercial initiatives, producing margin improvement plans and supporting team members in maximizing opportunities.
- Lead and manage junior staff, ensuring workload targets, deadlines, and commercial tasks are met and updated monthly.
