Overview
We are looking for five Operatives to join our Transportation team in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. This contract covers local highways throughout the county, where you will work as part of a team delivering routine maintenance, winter service, emergency response, and reactive repair works. Permanent, Fulltime 40 hours per week Salary : £25,958 £30,097 per year benefits We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As an Operative, you\’ll carry out routine maintenance activities on the network. Carrying out highway maintenance duties, being part of the winter maintenance and emergency callouts. Assist with ensuring that site and company equipment is always secure. Carry out daily defect reports on vehicles and ensure vehicles are maintained in good order. Contribute to the promotion of customer care by working closely with team members to ensure client and network users are dealt with in a polite and courteous manner.
