The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

In this role, you will be working on the Anglian Water contract part of the IOS team (integrated operational solutions). The team works across multiple disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation on water recycling solutions and the clean water base. We incorporate new construction, replacements or repairs spanning across the Anglian Water region.

What will you be responsible for? As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in the delivery of designated contract objectives within a wider commercial setting. The role will include delivery of set commercial objectives in relation to profitability and cash collection and providing commercial advice to operational counterparts.

Your day to day will include:

  • Provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team
  • Produce cash flow forecasts and ensure that cash flow is maximised
  • Highlight any potential risks to the Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Subcontract procurement- ensuring best value for money and lowest risk is achieved at all times

Qualifications:

  • Assessing subcontract applications
  • Experience within a similar role in the construction/water industry
  • An appropriate qualification in Quantity Surveying
  • Sound commercial and business knowledge
  • Experience working with NEC suite of contracts
  • Full driving licence
