We're looking for a Civil Project Engineer to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team on our Severn Trent Water Framework working from a major site for us at Wanlip. In this role, you'll focus on ensuring the successful delivery of Civil Engineering projects by integrating designs, managing programmes, and engaging with stakeholders to drive safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Location: Wanlip, Leicestershire.

Contract: Permanent - Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Civil Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering Civil scope projects from design to handover, ensuring the successful integration of engineering solutions that enhance Severn Trent's infrastructure and operations.

Severn Trent is investing £12.9 billion in AMP8 (2025–2030) to maintain high-quality drinking water, secure water supply, improve the environment, and enhance network resilience. As a strategic partner, Kier is delivering vital infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects to support these goals.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Implementing and monitoring SHE policies and procedures in line with Kier's Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Ensuring the design integration of Civil Engineering packages.
  • Managing project programmes from design through to commissioning and handover.
  • Engaging with direct and supply chain workforce on Health, Safety, and Well-being.
  • Identifying opportunities for value increase through effective change management.

This role of Civil Project Engineer is great for you if:

  • You hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
  • You hold a SMSTS certificate.
  • You have industry experience, ideally in the Water sector.
  • You are technically competent in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
