Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Children’s Yoga Teacher to join our growing team. The role involves leading small group sessions (up to 16 children) in after-school and in-school settings during term time.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified yoga teacher who loves working with children and is looking to diversify their teaching experience and income by bringing yoga, mindfulness, and wellbeing to school communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate yoga sessions for children aged 4–11.
  • Manage and motivate groups of up to 16 children in a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment.
  • Foster confidence, balance, and mindfulness through movement and relaxation activities.
  • Build positive relationships with school staff, parents, and the Kidz4 team.
  • Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed.
  • Represent Kidz4’s values of professionalism, creativity, and care.

Requirements

  • Qualified Yoga Teacher (minimum 200-hour certification).
  • Experience teaching or working with children (ideally in schools, clubs, or similar group settings).
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Enthusiastic, dependable, and professional attitude.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Ability to commit to term-time schedules (typically afternoons for after-school clubs).

  • Children’s yoga or mindfulness training/certification.
