Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Children’s Yoga & Crafts teacher to join our growing team. The role involves leading small group sessions (up to 16 children) in after-school and in-school settings during term time.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified yoga teacher who loves working with children and is looking to diversify their teaching experience and income by bringing yoga, mindfulness, and wellbeing to school communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate yoga sessions for children aged 4–11.
• Manage and motivate groups of up to 16 children in a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment.
• Foster confidence, balance, and mindfulness through movement and relaxation activities.
• Build positive relationships with school staff, parents, and the Kidz4 team.
• Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed.
• Represent Kidz4’s values of professionalism, creativity, and care.

Requirements

• Experience teaching or working with children (ideally in schools, clubs, or similar group settings).
• Interest and some experience in art / crafts
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Enthusiastic, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to commit to term-time schedules (typically afternoons for after-school clubs).
• Children’s yoga or mindfulness training/certification.
• Experience delivering activities in educational or extracurricular settings.
