About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and dynamic Nursery Manager to lead our vibrant early years setting in Salford. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery and OSH club, inspire a dedicated staff team, and ensure we deliver the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and early education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and support the staff team, conduct performance reviews, and drive continuous professional development.
- Childcare & Education: Ensure the delivery of an engaging, fun, and high-quality EYFS curriculum that supports every child’s growth and wellbeing.
- Safeguarding & Compliance: Maintain strict safeguarding policies and ensure full compliance with Ofsted and statutory requirements.
- Parent & Community Relations: Build warm, trusting relationships with parents, carers, and local community services or council departments.
- Business Operations: Manage occupancy, budgeting, marketing, and the smooth daily running of the nursery.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 qualification in a UK-recognised early years qualification (Level 5 or a degree in Early Childhood Studies / Education is highly desirable).
- Experience: Proven track record as a Nursery Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up, with strong inspection and leadership history.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and people-management skills.
