As a Legal Cashier in the Kidwells team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our client ledger is accurate, compliant, and up to date. You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing the ledger day-to-day, including bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
- Handling client account transactions in strict accordance with SRA Accounts Rules
- Processing invoices, payments, and transfers using Xero and LEAP
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Liaising with fee earners and support staff to ensure smooth financial operations
- Assisting with audits and regulatory reviews
- Managing the team

Key Responsibilities:
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Legal Cashier, within a legal or professional services setting
- Strong understanding of SRA Accounts Rules and client account management
- Proficiency in Xero and LEAP
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of the wider team and maintain confidentiality
- AAT qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
Person Specification:
- Good analytical skills
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Diligent and methodical work ethic
- Ability to work as part of a team
- A positive approach to working under pressure in a busy environment
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent people skills
Knowledge:
