As a Senior Assistant Director of the Data, Information Technology and Systems (DIS) department, you will oversee the full spectrum of initiatives addressing KSL’s digital, data and information technological (IT) needs. You will lead your department in engaging relevant stakeholders to develop digital and data-driven solutions for improving the client and employee experience under KidSTART.
Responsibilities
- Implement and periodically review KSL’s digital and data strategies, to ensure KSL is future-ready and adopts a data-driven approach to policy formulation, programme development and resource planning.
- Identify pain points in KSL’s service delivery and customer experience and co-create solutions with stakeholders. Where system enhancements are required, work with vendors and system owners to effect these or mitigate system limitations.
- Refine cybersecurity and data governance policies and processes (including business continuity / crisis management plans) so that they are clear and remain current. Train staff and provide them with clear instructions for reference.
- Oversee database management operations, dashboard projects, and data extraction requests.
- Oversee management of the company’s IT vendors, infrastructure setup and maintenance, assets and technical support to address the company’s IT needs in a timely way.
- Provide guidance, support and training to DIS staff, to achieve departmental goals.
Competencies
- Preferably extensive work experience (at least 6-8 years) in IT planning and implementation including cybersecurity, planning and executing data governance as well as strategies to harness data insights, and/or conceptualising and overseeing digital transformation.
- Preferably a degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering or relevant discipline.
- A good track record (at least 5 years) in supervisory positions and project management.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Inquiring mind, problem-solving orientation and win-win mindset.
- Clear communications and good interpersonal skills.
