KidSTART Singapore Ltd. (KSL) is a non-profit organization, incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee under the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) in Sep 2020 to support low income families with children 0-6 years old in child development, especially through the KidSTART programme.
You will be part of the Corporate Development team providing a suite of corporate services in Finance, Human Resource, Payroll and Claims, Data Management and IT services to ensure smooth running of the office. As part of the process, the team will work closely with other branches in the organisation, engage with funders and stakeholders across Government and non‑Government agencies, and work closely with senior management to forecast and anticipate evolving needs of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- To process payments and ensure complete submission of supporting documents.
- To process receipts from donors and funders and issue the appropriate receipts.
- To ensure transactions are recorded correctly in the system.
- To prepare accrual journals and supporting schedules.
- To prepare prepayment and deposit journals and supporting schedules.
- To support in the monitoring of inventory.
- To support in the monthly financial closing and preparation of financial reports.
- To participate in process improvement projects.
- Functional/Technical Competencies: Diploma qualifications in Accountancy/Finance. At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the area of finance. Ability to be hands‑on with accounting functions is a must. Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be an added advantage.
- Generic Competencies: Ability to work with cross‑functional multi‑disciplined teams. Effective team‑player.
