We are now looking for a Senior billings and Collections Advisor to join our Central Support team! Please note that this position is fixed term Maternity cover position The Senior Billing and Collections Advisor will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of their assigned billing and collections team. This position involves ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of customer invoices, overseeing debt management, and supporting the Team Leader in achieving team objectives. The Senior Advisor will handle complex queries, conduct quality assurance checks, and assist with training and development of team members. The successful candidate will be an active part of the growing Finance Department at Lymm Head Office having experience in creating great customer relations and having attention to detail. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following for your team’s allocated nurseries: Support Team Leader and may be asked to perform management duties when the manager is absent or out of office. Answer team member questions, help with team member problems. Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints. Assists management with training and development of new and existing team members in their absence. Assist with making sure all funding submission deadlines are accomplished. Perform initial checks on invoices to ensure they meet quality standards and assist team members with their invoicing tasks and provide support as needed. You will be responsible for overseeing a minimum of 3 Nurseries in line with the current B&C Advisor job description alongside this position. The ideal applicant will possess: A background of working within a finance department and meeting deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail. Excellent level of competence in Excel, Word, and Outlook Confident communication and decision-making skills Excellent Numerical ability and problem-solving skills An agile thinker able to cover a multitude of tasks with a can-do and self-motivation attitude. A hands attitude and who can operate effectively under pressure. Excellent communication skills An interest in developing people in a challenging but empathetic manner.
