Kids Planet Mansion House is looking for a Sports Coach to deliver engaging sports and play activities that promote physical development, teamwork, and confidence while supporting children’s overall care and wellbeing in line with the EYFS. We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children and young people. An enhanced DBS check and regular safeguarding training are required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging sports and play activities that promote physical development, teamwork, and confidence while supporting children’s overall care and wellbeing in line with the EYFS.
- Collaborate with the team to create a safe, fun, and active environment.
- Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families through open, supportive communication.
Qualifications & Requirements
- At least Level 2 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification or a willingness to complete the Kids Planet Training Academy.
- Desirable but not essential to hold a sports-based qualification.
- Detailed understanding of the physical education requirements set by Ofsted and knowledge of the EYFS.
- Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
- Will undergo an enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate mandatory).
- Regular safeguarding training required.
