Kids Planet Training Academy is offering a route into training as an Apprentice Tutor/Assessor, with training provided for the Level 3 Learning and Skills Assessor Apprenticeship. Responsibilities
- Support and assess Early Years apprentices in nursery settings, including workplace observations and evidence gathering.
- Deliver engaging training through online sessions, face-to-face teaching, group workshops and 1:1 tutorials.
- Plan and complete initial assessments, progress reviews and individual development plans.
- Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment and deliver Functional Skills where needed.
- Work closely with nursery managers and mentors to maximise learner progress.
- Manage your diary effectively to ensure timely visits, reviews and training delivery.
- Maintain accurate learner records while providing ongoing motivation, guidance and support.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years.
- Experience at Senior Practitioner or Room Leader level.
- Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues in a nursery environment.
- A willingness to work towards the Level 3 Learning and Skills Assessor Apprenticeship (fully supported by us).
- Excellent communication and ICT skills.
- Level 2 Maths and English qualifications.
- A full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
