Make sure you brush up on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Be ready to discuss how you’ve applied it in your previous roles and how you plan to implement it at Kids Planet. This shows you’re not just familiar with the guidelines but can also bring them to life in a nursery setting.
✨Show Your Passion for Early Years Education
Kids Planet is all about heart and passion for early years. During the interview, share specific examples of what drives you in this field. Talk about moments when you’ve made a difference in a child’s learning journey or how you’ve fostered a love for learning in your classroom.
✨Prepare for Scenario Questions
Expect to be asked how you would handle various situations in the nursery. Think about challenges you’ve faced in the past and how you resolved them. This could include dealing with a child’s behaviour or working with families. Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your answers.
