Are you a passionate and experienced Research Manager looking to apply your skills to an exciting, fast-moving industry? Do you want to work on world-class projects for some of the biggest entertainment, media, toys, gaming, education, and more brands? If so, Kids Industries (KI) is looking for a talented Research Manager like you to join our award-winning Insight team. You’ll be key in delivering high-quality qualitative and/or quantitative research, uncovering insights that shape industry-leading businesses - including Royal Caribbean International, Universal, Danone, BBC, and Amazon. This is an opportunity to develop your expertise while working in a fun, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Lead and Deliver Research Projects
- Manage research projects from design to execution, ensuring high-quality insights.
- Work independently and proactively, with the support of Associate Directors.
- Oversee multiple bespoke projects simultaneously, handling challenges with confidence.
- Expertise in Research Methodologies
- Proficient in at least one research methodology—quantitative or qualitative (or both).
- Develop research materials, moderate focus groups, field global surveys, and conduct data analysis.
- Transform research findings into compelling, actionable insights.
- Client and Supplier Management
- Manage global research projects with international partners and suppliers.
- Maintain research quality across multiple markets, ensuring consistency.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing expectations and leading presentations.
- Mentor and Support Junior Team Members
- Delegate tasks effectively and support the growth of junior researchers.
- Foster a collaborative learning environment within the team.
- Data Analysis and Storytelling
- Identify trends, patterns, and emerging themes across datasets.
- Present findings in a visually engaging, narrative-driven format to support client decision-making.
- Business Development and Innovation
- Contribute to new business development, writing research proposals and winning new clients.
- Share industry knowledge and trends with the wider team.
- Help integrate AI and emerging research tools to enhance research processes.
WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
- Proven experience leading research projects—from methodology design to insight delivery.
- Expertise in qualitative or quantitative research, with a willingness to develop both.
- Strong analytical skills—able to connect insights to business challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills—confident in leading client meetings.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity for the kids & family industry—experience is a plus, but passion is essential.
- Strong project management and organisational skills - capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
