At TeamKids, we are a team of passionate educators dedicated to enriching children's lives. TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage and entertain children before school, after school and throughout school holidays.
This permanent, part-time opportunity offers hands-on experience in the OSHC industry. You will be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.
Service Location: Stafford Heights 4053
You will work afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday: 2:00pm - 6:00pm. Total hours: 20.
The Role - Ready to Grow Your Leadership? As the Second in Charge (2IC), you will be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team.
- Involved: Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies.
- Innovation: Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.

- Remarkable: Support with ensuring your program is in compliance according to industry regulations.
The Successful Candidate:
- Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential – we can train you!
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart!
- Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
- You are a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
- Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN!
- Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.
