Who is TeamKids?
TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage, and entertain children before school, after school, and throughout school holidays.
Job Description
This permanent, part-time opportunity offers hands-on experience in the OSHC industry. You\’ll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.
Service Location: Preston
You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 9:00am + 3:00pm – 6:30pm

As the Second in Charge (2IC), you’ll be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team.
Involved: Engage with the school community, attending events, and assemblies.
Innovation: Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.
Genuine: Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
Fun: Play and have fun with primary school-aged children.
Remarkable: Support in ensuring your program complies with industry regulations.
The Successful Candidate:
Ideally, you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential — we can train you!
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart!
Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
You\’re a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have fun!
