Kido is a place where innovation and imagination unite to create modern Early Years settings. We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our team at Kido location: Kido Nursery & Preschool Bethnal Green, St Peter\’s Mission Hall, 56 Warner Pl, London E2 7DA
Who are Kïdo?
We are international, operating in India, USA and the UK. In the UK all our nurseries are Ofsted rated Good and Outstanding and are based in London and Windsor. We\’re still growing with 1-2 new nurseries opening each year! At Kido, we blend the best practices from the Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches and have a unique curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We believe that a combination of free and structured play, an engaging and interactive learning environment, and an abundance of love, care and attention provide the most solid foundation for children in their early years.
What will you do?
- Support maintenance and cleanliness of the nursery
- Tidying up – make sure bins are empty, surfaces are clean, things are put away in the right places and washing and laundry is done at the end of each shift
- Team Player – be part of a fantastic team and forge great relationships within your colleagues and everyone in the nursery setting
- Setting up – help to create inspiring learning places, utilising indoor and outdoor space
- Welcome spaces – make sure the front of house is inviting, fresh flowers are put out, shoes are tidied away and coats are hung up
- Any other duties as reasonably requested by the nursery staff
