The Nursery Room Leader role offers a salary range of £28,000 to £33,000 and is a full time, 40 hours per week position. Take the chance to build a remarkable career in a fast-growing international company.
What we're looking for:
- Kido are looking for a Nursery Room Leader to join the team at Kido International Nursery & Preschool Tooting, St Barnabas Church Hall, Thirsk Road, Tooting, CR4 2BD.
- It is essential that you hold a relevant childcare qualification, Level 3 minimum and have experience working in Early Years.
- Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English including functional skills are also a must if you obtained a Level 3 qualification after 2014.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead your team with the smooth running of day-to-day activities by communicating key information to team members and parents.
- Be a positive role model by inspiring outstanding teaching and learning every day.
- Lead your team's performance reviews by giving supportive feedback, setting clear SMART goals, and encouraging them to grow and reach their next steps.
- Work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) ensuring the safety and welfare of all children is always prioritised.
- Lead an ambitious curriculum for your room making sure that everyone is striving for outstanding in their education delivery.
- Ensure that the key person approach is well embedded in your room and every child has both a key person and a buddy key person.
- Take pride in your development by ensuring you access continued professional development opportunities and encourage your team to do so.
