Kido is a place where innovation and imagination unite to create modern Early Years settings. We’re looking for a Level 2 Early Years Educator to join our team at Kido Nursery & Preschool Battersea, Malvern House, 2A Palmer Rd, Nine Elms, London SW11 4GJ.
We are international, operating in India, USA and the UK. In the UK all our nurseries are Ofsted rated Good and Outstanding and are based in London and Windsor. We’re still growing with 1-2 new nurseries opening each year! At Kido, we blend the best practices from the Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches and have a unique curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We believe that a combination of free and structured play, an engaging and interactive learning environment, and an abundance of love, care and attention provide the most solid foundation for children in their early years.
What we offer

What the Level 2 Early Years Educator role entails
Welcome to the heart of Kido, where passion, ambition and people are at the core of everything we do. As a Qualified Early Years Educator you’ll be more than just an Educator; you’ll be an ambassador for our values, and a gatekeeper for our vibrant culture.
Your primary focus will be creating a safe and inspiring learning environment where every child thrives. You’ll be a team player ensuring that you and your team meet the unique needs of each child. You’ll collaborate with your team to plan, organise and execute engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). An ability to effectively communicate with parents, children and colleagues will empower you to deliver the best experience possible.
You’ll be an integral part of setting the stage for curiosity and exploration, utilising both indoor and outdoor spaces. With a hands-on approach and with great attention to detail, you’ll deliver exceptional experiences throughout the children's learning journeys within our nursery. You’ll take ownership for observing and assessing your key children, and you’ll work with the child, colleagues and parents to set individualised goals.

What we’re looking for
- For the Level 2 Early Years Educator role you’ll hold a relevant childcare qualification, level 2 minimum.

- You will likely have some experience in a similar role within a nursery or other childcare or educational setting
- You must hold the right to work in the UK
