We are international, operating in India, USA and the UK. In the UK all our nurseries are Ofsted rated Good and Outstanding and are based in London and Windsor. We’re still growing with 1-2 new nurseries opening each year! We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our team at Kido International Nursery & Preschool: Kido Nursery and Preschool Windsor – Kingdom Hall, Grove Rd, Windsor SL4 1JE
We provide a variety of activities for the children to enjoy and support them in their development. They can be creative and imaginative in their activities and they can learn about the environment, time and different cultures to develop an understanding of the world about them. Our Curriculum covers all the key areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage and is designed to meet the needs of the individual child.
What will you do?
As a House Keeper you will be responsible for ensuring that Kïdo are always presenting themselves in the best way by looking welcoming and inviting for everyone that visits us during the day. We create vibrant learning spaces and our House Keeper will make sure that everything is where it should be, fresh and tidy. You will make sure that the nursery is clean, that laundry is done, bins are emptied, and deliveries are tucked away.
You’ll work closely to support the nursery and will have accountability for the following:
- Support maintenance and cleanliness of the nursery
- Tidying up – Making sure that bins are empty, surfaces are clean, things are put away in the right places and washing and laundry is done at the end of each shift
- Team Player – be part of a fantastic team and forge great relationships within your colleagues and everyone in the nursery setting
- Setting up – you’ll help to create inspiring learning places, utilising indoor and outdoor space
- Welcome spaces – make sure that our front of house is inviting, and welcoming, fresh flowers are put out, shoes are tided away and coats are hung up
- Any other duties as reasonably requested by the nursery staff
Salary up to £25,400 (Full time equivalent) some flexibility on hours.
