We are international, operating in India, USA and the UK. In the UK all our nurseries are Ofsted rated Good and Outstanding and are based in London and Windsor. We’re still growing with 1-2 new nurseries opening each year! At Kido, we blend the best practices from the Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches and have a unique curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We believe that a combination of free and structured play, an engaging and interactive learning environment, and an abundance of love, care and attention provide the most solid foundation for children in their early years.

What we offer

Salary range up to £31,000 for full time, 40 hours per week.

What the Room Leader role entails

As a Room Leader you’ll be more than just a leader; you’ll be an ambassador for our values, and a gatekeeper for our vibrant culture. You’ll take full ownership of your room, turning learning outcomes into inspiring classroom experiences. You’ll lead your team to plan, organise and execute engaging activities that align with the EYFS and the Kido curriculum, support educators in setting goals for each child, and drive the growth of your team. You’ll deliver exceptional experiences outdoors and indoors, communicate with parents, children and colleagues, assess and record progress, and create a nurturing environment that respects each child’s individuality.

What we’re looking for

• Relevant childcare qualification, level 3 minimum (visit https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-qualifications-achieved-in-england)
• Values aligned with our core values – Listen, Learn and Lead
• Experienced Level 3 Educator, preferably a Room Leader or Deputy Room Leader
• Right to work in the UK
• Will provide details of all unspent convictions prior to interview; Enhanced DBS check required for all team members
