We’re looking for a French teacher to join our team at Bethnal Green Location - St Peter’s Mission Hall, 56 Warner Pl, London E2 7DA. We are international, operating in India, USA and the UK. In the UK all our nurseries are Ofsted rated Good and Outstanding and are based in London and Windsor. We’re still growing with 1-2 new nurseries opening each year!

The role of the French Teacher: Welcome to the heart of Kido, where passion, ambition, and people are at the core of everything we do! As a French Teacher you’ll be more than just an educator; you’ll be an ambassador for our values, and a gatekeeper for our vibrant culture. You’ll lead 30-45 minute French lessons supporting the children to learn the language and immerse them in cultural exploration. By providing enriching lessons, you’ll cater to different learning styles and ages from 3 months to 5 years, considering immersive ways to keep children engaged throughout the sessions, tailoring to the unique needs of each child and empowering them on their learning journey.
As a language enthusiast, you’ll teach songs, rhymes, and read stories, enriching language, social, and physical development through varied activities. You’re not just a teacher; you’re a master organiser! Planning lessons in advance and assessing the children’s learning are a key part of the role with an emphasis on developing the children’s social communication skills. Integrating French into different activities such as snack time will aid the learning process. Your primary focus will be creating a safe and inspiring learning environment where every child thrives.
You’ll be a team player ensuring that you provide the best and most enriching learning experience and stepping into the Nursery Educator role when not teaching French lessons. An ability to effectively communicate with parents, children and colleagues will set you apart and aid us in delivering the best experience possible. We believe in celebrating every child’s unique journey, and you’ll play a key role in assessing and recording their progress and achievements.
