What we’re looking for:
Kido are looking for Early Years Educators to join the team at Kido International Nursery & Preschool Battersea, Malvern House, 2A Palmer Rd, Nine Elms, London SW11 4GJ. For the Early Years Educator role, it is essential that you hold a relevant childcare qualification, Level 2 minimum and have experience working in Early Years. Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English including functional skills are also a must if you obtained a Level 3 qualification after 2014. Unfortunately we are not able to support Sponsorship Application at this time.
Responsibilities:
- Create a nurturing environment — Support a safe, engaging space where children can learn and thrive.
- Be a consistent key person — Offer comfort, stability, and strong relationships for your key children.
- Observe and plan learning — Record observations and plan next steps to support each child’s development.
- Use varied teaching strategies — Adapt approaches to meet different learning styles and interests.
- Create enabling environments — Set up inspiring spaces that spark curiosity, awe, and exploration.
- Support SEND needs — Work with families and professionals to provide tailored support for children with additional needs.
- Safeguard children effectively — Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns promptly to the DSL.
- Carry out safety checks — Contribute to daily health and safety routines and risk assessments.
