Management accountant – 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Contracted to our Peterborough office with the flexibility for hybrid working
Salary £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
Full time: 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for a self-motivated well organised individual to join our Finance team. Reporting to the head of finance, this is a key role within our ambitious finance team. You will take responsibility for financial accounting and provide business partnering support for areas allocated by the head of finance, contributing to budgeting, forecasting, audit readiness and support for the purchase and sales ledgers as required. In addition to ensuring that regular financial reports are produced in a timely and accurate manner, they will support implementation of the new finance system.
The successful candidate will be qualified ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or part-qualified with experience. This is a role for someone who enjoys accounting and has sound knowledge of double entry bookkeeping. Knowledge of VAT would be advantageous especially in how it relates to a charity (partial exemption).
The successful candidate will be someone who is comfortable using a range of software, possess excellent interpersonal skills, high levels of accuracy and be able to manage and prioritise their own workload.
