KiddyKare are seeking a motivated individual to join a well-established and dynamic team in Brentford. You will work in partnership with the Nursery manager/deputy managers to ensure the smooth day to day running of the nursery. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive whilst delegating and supporting members of the nursery team. Your role will involve planning and implementing engaging educational activities that promote holistic growth and well-being.
Working hours: 40 - 45 hours per week with a gross salary of £28,500 to £32,500 per annum.

Duties include:
- Working in partnership with and supporting the Nursery Manager, Deputy Nursery Manager to ensure the daily running and administration of the nursery.
- Adhering to the Policies & Procedures of the company and compliance with the Children Act, Health, and Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted and the National Standards.
- Ensuring confidentiality is maintained in the nursery.
- Support the leadership team with the planning and organising of daily activities in the nursery and organising the relevant team members to carry out duties.
- Supervision of nursery staff team members, including carrying out supervisory meetings under the guidance of Nursery managers.
- Attending regular leadership team meetings and staff meetings.
- Keep a record of incident, accident and risk assessments.
- Promoting a positive attitude and effective communication and act as a role model for team members.
- Assist with new staff inductions and mentoring of junior team members.
- Promote the EYFS and work as part of our team to provide a happy and nurturing environment in which all our children can play, learn and develop.
- To build and maintain strong partnerships with our families to enhance learning both inside and outside of the classroom.
- Ensure that the children are always supervised.
- Interact with and provide guidance and care to all children within the nursery.
Person Specification: Must have a Level 3 or above in Early Years Education or equivalent qualification with a minimum of two years’ experience working in a childcare setting, with at least one in a supervisory or leadership role. Experience in Ofsted inspections and achieving Good or Outstanding ratings, First Aid and Safeguarding training would be beneficial.
