KiddyKare are looking for a Room Leader to join a small and well-established nursery in Tadworth. This nursery boasts of its amazing garden space and extra-curricular activities for the children. If you're passionate, enthusiastic and can role model and inspire people to deliver fantastic experiences for children and their families, then this is the role for you!

Duties include:
- Operate a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in your room in conjunction with other staff.
- Support all staff and engage in a good staff team.
- The preparation and completion of activities to suit the child's stage of development.
- Ensure the room is set out ready for the children each morning and toys and equipment is stored correctly.
- Organise a rota for wall displays ensuring that each display board is changed and updated at least 6 weekly.
- To organise creative activities ensuring that all children are taking things that they have made home.
- Manage staff effectively, ensuring ratios are maintained throughout the setting.
- Work with students allocated to your room and their supervisor, passing on your knowledge to them, practically and theoretically.
Person Specification:
- Minimum Level 3 childcare qualification
- Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance.
- At least one year's recent relevant experience
- Sound knowledge of Safeguarding.
