KiddyKare are looking for an experienced deputy manager for a lovely privately owned nursery located in Pinner. The nursery is set with beautiful views and lots of outdoor space.
Working 40 hours per week between the hours of 7:30 and 6pm with a salary of up to £38,000.

- 28 days holiday per year including 5 days at Easter, 5 days at Christmas, bank holidays and the remaining to take in your own time

What your day would include:
- Leading a team, encouraging and raising practice daily.
- Managing and overseeing the daily running of the nursery in the absence of the manager.
- Staff delegation and deployment to ensure all rooms are working within the adult to child ratios.
- Oversee display boards and the setting up of a stimulating, warm environment prepared for the children including the garden in accordance with the 7 areas of learning.
- Mentoring and training Room Leaders.
- Creating children's health care plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential: Level 3 or above in Early Years Education or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of three years experience working in a childcare setting, with at least two in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and relevant childcare legislation.
- Desirable: Level 5 or above in Leadership and Management in Early Years.
- Experience in Ofsted inspections and achieving Good or Outstanding ratings.
- First Aid and Safeguarding training.
