Annual base salary rate: £27,000 - £30,000
For our dynamically growing EMS (wireless fire detection and alarm products) UK&I team we are currently looking for:
In this role you will be part of a team who are the technical point of contact for customers and sales colleagues, with regards to our EMS product portfolio. You will be responsible for providing technical support via telephone and email. As well as working with the EMS Engineering team with documenting and testing to validate new products and changes to existing products ensuring all user requirements and functional reliability is met prior to release. There is also a requirement to provide technical product training to customers and new internal staff.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Answering Technical Calls and Email.
- Product Validation Testing.
- Product/Technical training for internal and external staff.
- Product/Technical training for customers.
- Occasional Site visits and internal Fire Warden duties.
Key requirements:
- Min. 3 years of relevant experience in the Fire & Security industry is a must.
- Good understanding of fire and security industry codes of practice.
- Good general knowledge of EMS products and services will be a strong advantage.
- Appropriate computer skills in MS Office package, internet and email.
- Full driving license.
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Be able to work well with others to achieve objectives.
- Ability to present oneself and company products in a professional and competent manner.
- Credible and comfortable in dealing with tense situations.
- Good organizational skills.
- Provide feedback on new and existing product functionality/operation.
