We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our Aylesbury office with a minimum of 5 years PQE (or equivalent experience). This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and capable lawyer to take ownership of a profitable and high-quality caseload. The role offers autonomy and the chance to make a real impact by developing and growing the private client offering in this location.

You will handle a broad range of private client matters, including:

  • Wills; life interest, discretionary trust, simple wills
  • Probate and administration of estates; full administrations and fixed fee probate work
  • Acting on behalf of the firm
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
  • Taxable estates and related issues
  • Trust administration

The work is varied and of excellent quality, providing an opportunity to build a strong reputation and a profitable practice.

Although you will be the sole private client lawyer in the Aylesbury office, you will not be isolated. We hold monthly private client meetings via Teams, giving you the chance to collaborate, share ideas, and feel part of a supportive team.

Who We’re Looking For

A qualified solicitor with at least 5 years’ experience in private client work. Someone confident and self-sufficient, able to manage matters without day-to-day supervision. A professional who enjoys autonomy but values team interaction through virtual meetings. Strong technical knowledge and excellent client care skills. This role is not suitable for newly qualified solicitors, as the position requires a high level of independence and experience.
