Job description

We have two independent day nurseries with a highly regarded reputation. You will join a fantastic and caring team who put the children in our care first and support one another.

The role involves learning whilst you work. You will be able to take part in a qualification course whilst on site and benefit from national apprenticeship wage whilst learning.

Key skills / requirements

• Caring, self-motivated and reliable.
• Great at communicating and building relationships with children and their families.
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS.
• Love of the outdoors.

Purpose and Responsibilities of the role

To provide the highest level of care and learning opportunities for children in your care;

• Support and extend the individual needs and interests of the children in your care whilst fulfilling the role of Key Person.
• Ensure the well-being, health and safety of the children in your care.
• Follow the EYFS Framework and develop engaging learning opportunities.
• Promote and meet all the physical, emotional, social and developmental needs of the children in your care.
• Ensure company policy and practices are carried out at all times.
