This is a remote position. Our client is an innovative company operating at the forefront of equine performance and veterinary technology. With patented, cutting-edge products used across the veterinary and racing sectors, they are now seeking a driven UK Sales Manager to accelerate growth and maximise market opportunities.

This is a dynamic, field-based sales position where you will represent two specialist equine technology products:

Veterinary Product (Distributor Partnership)

You will work closely with an established UK distributor with strong connections across veterinary practices and equine hospitals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building an exceptional working relationship with the distributor’s sales team.
  • Attending meetings pre-booked by the distributor to deliver engaging clinical product demonstrations.
  • Conducting your own business development alongside distributor activity to ensure maximum territory coverage and opportunity generation.
  • Using and understanding veterinary terminology to communicate effectively and professionally with clinicians and practice teams.
  • Presenting the product confidently to veterinary professionals.
  • Ensuring all opportunities are effectively followed up and progressed through to successful close of business.
Racing Product

You will also be responsible for growing sales within the racing industry. Key duties:

  • Identifying racing yards, trainers and performance teams across the UK.
  • Developing a pipeline through proactive outreach and strong industry networking.
  • Getting through the door, arranging meetings and pitching to decision-makers.
  • Conducting on-yard demos and securing new business opportunities.
  • Owning the full sales cycle, ensuring diligent follow-up and strong close rates across all client opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Representing the company at conferences, trade stands and industry events.
  • Providing product insights and feedback to influence sales strategy.
  • Managing your own diary to maximise time in the field and customer engagement.
Requirements
  • Experience in B2B field sales.
  • Veterinary sales experience is essential.
  • Racing experience desired.
  • Determined and driven to succeed.
  • Confident, proactive and capable of building rapport quickly.
  • Skilled in delivering technical product demonstrations and closing sales opportunities.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel across the UK.
  • Organised, self-motivated and passionate.
  • Able to communicate confidently using veterinary terminology and understand the terminology clinicians use.
