Sales Agent – Equine & Agricultural Sector (Scotland)

Our client is a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of high-quality, durable tools and equipment for the equine, agricultural and professional trade sectors. They are expanding their field sales team and are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Agent to represent them across Scotland, promoting their products to retailers.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and well-connected sales agent to represent one of the most trusted names in the industry. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing and growing existing accounts within your area.
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities across the equine and agricultural sectors.
  • Promoting seasonal ranges, new product launches and exclusive offers.
  • Building long-term relationships with customers through professional, proactive and personable service.
  • Working closely with the commercial and marketing teams to align activity and maximise performance.

Requirements

We are looking for a confident, organised and commercially minded professional who thrives on autonomy and results. The ideal person will:

  • Have no more than four current brands in their portfolio if you are a existing sales agent.
  • Be equine-based, though they will consider agents with a strong pet or rural retail background.
  • Have proven experience as a sales agent, ideally representing complementary brands in similar sectors.
  • Will also consider those who are not current sales agents but with a strong sales/business development background.
  • Live within or near Scotland and be fully mobile with a driving licence.
  • Be capable of developing new leads as well as maintaining existing customer relationships.
  • Be motivated, professional and outgoing, with a style that fits the dynamic, collaborative culture of our client.
