About the role

Derby County are seeking a Ticket Office Assistant to join the Ticketing department at Pride Park Stadium.

The role involves assisting with day to day administration within the Ticket Office and ensuring excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Ticket Office Management in driving objectives and exceeding department goals.
  • Support pre/post game preparation for home and away games.
  • Coach and train new starters in customer service skills and technical store systems.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable Ticket Office and ensure proper signage/branding.
  • Handle customer complaints and queries via telephone, email and in person.
  • Process and fulfil online orders.
  • Run banking reports and relay information onto Ticket Office banking sheets.
  • Update supporter proof of age and customer data within the ticketing system.
  • Process internal and external allocations.
  • Ensure ticketing website information is up to date.
  • Assist with personal assistant tickets and support the DLO/SLO workload.
  • Comply with health, safety and welfare policies and safeguarding provision.
  • Promote organisational policies, equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Represent the club with a positive public image.
  • Undertake any other duties reasonably required.
  • Personal characteristics and experience
  • Experience in a ticketing function or operation (desirable).
  • Customer service experience.
  • Administration or IT knowledge/experience (desirable).
  • Confident, resilient and self motivated.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, target driven environment.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.

Qualifications

Salary is competitive, dependent on experience.

Excellent spoken and written English is essential as the role involves accurate communication in a fast paced, high pressure environment.

This is a full time role with weekend and evening work required.
