The Lancashire FA is seeking a passionate, organised and proactive Football Facilities Activator to join our Facilities and Investment Team. This role supports the delivery of projects that improve grassroots football facilities across Lancashire, working with clubs, leagues, schools, local authorities, the Football Foundation and other partners to help communities access sustainable, high-quality football facilities.
Location: The County Ground, Thurston Road, Leyland, Lancashire PR25 2LF. This is a permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week) based at Lancashire FA’s headquarters in Leyland, with hybrid working options and regular travel across Lancashire. The role includes occasional evening and weekend work and salary of £23,500 per annum, with a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities- Support the delivery of Lancashire FA’s Facilities and Investment Strategy and The FA National Game Strategy by providing project and administrative support across facility programmes.
- Assist with funding applications, maintain key data and project trackers, and support grant programmes.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement and administer the FA 3G Register.
- Identify funding opportunities and help deliver Local Football Facilities Plans across Lancashire.
- Work with partners to ensure projects progress from inception through to delivery and contribute to improving places to play.
- Enthusiastic and highly organised individual with excellent administrative, communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, interpret and present data, and build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience within football, sport, community development or similar environments is advantageous.
- Passion for creating positive community impact through better football facilities.
