We’re looking for a detail‑driven and motivated Payroll Assistant to support the smooth and accurate running of our payroll operations at the King Power Stadium. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in ensuring every colleague across LCFC, LCWFC and LCitC is paid correctly, on time and in line with best practice. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day payroll administration with accuracy and efficiency
- Support the monthly payroll process for LCFC, LCWFC and LCitC, including starters, leavers, amendments, expenses and matchday staff payments
- Maintain accurate payroll records, systems and filing
- Prepare and process Matchday Safety Staff timesheets
- Liaise with HR to ensure all new starter documentation is correct and complete
- Assist with payroll checks, reconciliations and BACS submissions
- Support pension administration, including auto‑enrolment and provider liaison
- Keep payroll spreadsheets and reports up to date (e.g., mileage, benefits, academy costs)
- Assist with HMRC submissions, month‑end duties and year‑end processes (P60s, P11Ds)
- Respond to payroll queries from staff, players, advisors and external bodies
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, HMRC deadlines and internal policies
- Stay informed on payroll legislation and upcoming changes
